Default My Finds At The Creek

The first pic is of the creek. You can see the drout we're having! The water is just goen! Nothing but swamplands are left. I couldn't even locate the swimming ereas. So I detected around the fire sites. The place was totaly trashed up from years of boaters throwing their bottles, cans, you could fill up a junk yard with all the trash!

The second pic is a curious armadilo that came to keep me company. (The wife stayed in the car LOL)

The third are my finds around the campsites. Three dimes, six pennies, and alot of casings.

The forth is from a downtown alley way. I was waitting for my wife to come out of a store, so I just pulled out the ol' MD and hit the alley. Looks like a dentist mirror. Anyways, there's my Thursday!

Happy Hunting!
Adam

Adam nothing like getting to do a little digging here and there! Congrats on your first ring! Can't forget that!!!! You got the feel for them and you should start finding lot's more!!! That's what it looked like here in SW AR. The water is starting to rise just a little. With the water down I was able to find quite a few rings! Just imagine how many are out there where the water is! Boy what I could do with a water detector!!!

Default Thanks Pappy! BTW Pat

I couldn't get within 25 ft of the water. The mud was UNREAL!! Like quicksand! You could tell were folks had been fourwheeling out there and got stuck I'm dying to get back there and go farther down streem. I only hit about 5 campsites. There are so many more!! I just wish I could tell a little better were the easy access to the water was. I had a BLAST out there and can't wait to get back! We're supposed to get rain for the next couple of days, I just hope it doesn't make it to difficult to go back to the swinging bridge area.

Adam I know what ya mean about mud! I had to be real careful where I stepped, Some areas are holding water and I sure didn't want to bog down and be stuck there all day!! Be careful!!!!!!!
