Today's Finds 02-12-2006
Hello my Friends,
I've worked the last two Saturdays but I went digging today to a different Old Home Place. Snow on the ground, temperatures in the mid 30's and these items were just awaiting Roger (the junk man) to come take them home! It was hard hunting with all the exposed tin cans, roofing tin, large household tin & iron, parts of iron bed head/foot rails, etc. Considering all the junk I had a Good day and enjoyed it Very Much! The scan shows: (top row) part of an Epaulet scale, lead poker chip & brass trigger guard,
(second row) 1936 & 1942 wheat & unknown Foreign coin (no date),
(third row) aluminum tax token & aluminum Dr. Bell's Bell,
(fourth row) 1941 D Mercury & Gold Wedding Band marked "H" inside
(bottom row) Brass belt adjuster?
Of course I dug several other unwanted household trash items of aluminum, brass & Zinc lids!
I Can't Wait For Next Week-end.....
Maybe I Can Have Two Days Off Once Again?
Happy Hunting & Thanks For Looking, Roger
