Default Tundra treasure

Hey all, whent for a hike with some friends today.I wanted to take the detecter but it was around 9 degrees out there. We hiked to an old campsite up a creek in a rock gorge. This is one of thouse spots that i should be searching as people have hiked, camped and just hung out at since the 1800's.Have to come back in the spring. We were gathering wood for a fire and i found this old cast iron chicken fryer still in great shape !! so i had a great time and found some treasure(cookin some chicken right now !) lol,

hey greg ! It is a nice sckillet(20 bucks on ebay lol) And it is definatly cold,my drink kept turning to slush ! Next weekend we are going to brave the cold and camp out for the night ! That should be interesting as my friends are more of the "stay glued to the woodstove till spring types" I was a bit shocked that they said yes to the hike today.Im hoping it will be warm enough to do some detecting as i've never done much detecting there and i'm sure theres some good stuff to be found there.
