My 1st Silver Half!

I found this half dollar about a month ago. It is a beauty! It was my 1st silver half in my career. I am looking forward to many more of these and maybe some Barber halves!

Great find Keith ,looks outstanding !! Only half i ever found was a badly corroded 74 Kennedy. Good luck and hope you find many more. HH Bill

I can so vividly remember my first walker...

I was hunting an old ball diamond with a friend. We had just started hunting together (bought our detectors at the same time). We were hunting at night as we usually do.

I got a huge signal on my xlt and thought it was a silver quarter.

I dug a plug and put my mini light in the hole. All I could see was the reeded edge sticking out of the side of the hole. I called my buddy over to come and see for himself what a large silver piece looked like in the hole. I put my fingernail under the coin and flipped it out of its grave.
