I was able to get in another afternoon hunt. Before the showers set in on me. I and managed to pull out this what looks like a 1890 IH penny and 2 old wheat’s along with a nice bullet. I measured it. If you know what it is please let me know ?

I thought maybe I would pull one up on you today, but I guess not. Nice finds, TN, as usual. How many Indians do you have this year?

This one made 6 I swear I feel like the Ih's I'm finding where at one time all togther in some sort of container and maybe the plow it the jar or what not and scatterd them thru the field. I have found a over 30 IH's in this one field in a area about 20x50

Hey Will,
Nice evening dig! The bullet appears to be Civil War and looks like several listed in the M&M book. The closest match is a MM5 (.522 x .862) .50 cal. Union Carbine-first type. Another is MM7 (.525 x .874) .50 cal. Cosmopolitan. Nice find Bud! Keep it Up!!
