Default 50 coin day: Swarmed!

From the land of the Bluenose....after a hard day at buggie bouying watching folks return with their tans and jiggy beads in their hair this fellow was looking forward to a nice quiet dig at a local schoolyard.
Arriving home I was changed and out the door before my work shirt hit the floor which Marie didn't see as she was out doing her thing.....shopping and I imagine buying herself a birthday present!

Hit the school yard on a great Nova Scotian day with the sun just a humming throught the clouds now and then! Even the crows were being quiet and respecting my personal space. As always as is the case on these type of hunts the pennies began coming and coming and coming but I didn't mind as it is not every year one can dig in March!
Varoooooooooooooooooom! So much for peace and tranquility as a group of kids came to the school with their radio controlled car...no problem and I kept on a digging.

After a few more pennies "Horton hears a who" as a lady was walking her 4 legged mobile manure maker who was a barking at something and promptly left an ugly brown mess in the middle of the playing field. Called to the lady to see if she was going to clean up the mess but she keep on walking. I called to her again and asked if she wanted the dew bagged and taken home for supper at which point she headed directly to the parking lot and her car.................um! Did I say something wrong? At least she didn't give me the finger. Feel bad for the school kids that have to use this field as by the amount of "Gommer Piles" it would be a pretty sh&^%%tty go of it!

With that out of the way the next visitor was a darn golfer who was at the far end of the field and was taking his swings with an occasional slice bouncing off the school...tempting fate for sure eh! A couple of kids with their soap box racers arrived and started using the paved incline that was near him to race so he left.
With the mood gone and the 50 coins reached I called it a day only to come home to a place full of the LeRue clan for birthday cake and ice cream!

End result ofthe day was 57 coins at $1.12, headache and a throbbing ankle!
