Default Pappy's Find On 03-29-06

Well Folks, Ole' Pappy got tired of sitting around the house today. Went out and fired up the ole truck and headed for West Virginia.
Stopped by first to see my Great Uncle and he saw the metal detector in the truck. He told me that he had previously had four people at his house looking for a ring that he wanted them to find for him. Word was his Son had lost his wedding ring about 10 years ago and they had looked and looked but could not find it. He went on to say that since that time they had filled in the yard with about 4" of top soil. He gave me a location to look and I started in the Jewelry mode with the ole ACE250 and about 45 seconds into the hunt it locked into the pull tab position which I have learned is 99.99% sure for a ring. About that time he said "I can tell you what it looks like" and I said "Does it look like this" and he was standing there with his mouth hanging open. I sure was glad to find it for him. He will give it to his Son when his Son get's off work today.
VERY GOOD DAY FOR PAPPY...

Sorry about the pic. He was in such a hurry to show it to his wife that I only got a quick pic. The ring is 22K and the light row down the middle of the ring is diamonds. It was at 5"....PAPPY

Default Molly Munchin

BOB, Molly's are wild mushrooms that we pick around this time of the year and are also called "muggins". If you have never had muggins you are missing out on a Great part of life.
We all here in the mountains have secret places we look for muggins usually after a warm rain...PAPPY
