This site will spoil us
. Wooded areas are my favorite areas to detect. They tend to be very peaceful and lack the "everyday" roar of traffic.This grove had a dancing pavillion, soda stands, cottages, merry-go-round, etc.. There was an admission to the grove: 10 cents for adults and 5 for children. There has to be tons of old silver coins there. We have to wait a month though, but we are excited about the future! |

I would lose sleep over a place like that. I've hunted a few areas similar. One was supposedly "hunted out" but I still managed to find a 1929 class ring and my first standing liberty quarter.
