Default Got Out For Awhile Over The Week-end

I hit an old spot first and found everything on the top two rows. I went to a different place and gained permission. I had to offer 50% of the finds to get permission as he metal detects his property. I hunted two different Old Home Places. Everything else was my take of the day. The bottom right bullet (Enfield) is base marked "57" (trying to show the cavity mark). The landowner took a Civil War Era axe head, a dropped .58 bulb nose minie with an old ding, (2) dropped .54 Machined minies like the one on the bottom row in the middle (one I hit with my shovel). A shot .58 minie and 4 bullets that had been hammered flat (two had a single hole through them). He also took a Great Seal Button thinking it was from WWI (going to give it to a Nephew of the man that once lived there). I'm uncertain to the other junk brass items found.....shotgun brass, .38 brass, mangled large piece of brass, .38 bullet, unknown items, etc.

Just Letting You Know, "THE TICKS ARE OUT!!!!!!" I've picked some off me the last few trips! Be careful!! Good Luck & Happy Digging, Roger

I would have not detected the area. I'm not into giving away any of my finds. I would have thanked the gentleman for his time and told him I was not interested anymore. My finds are my babies, so I don't part from them too easily. Just my 2 cents, but a nice day anyways for yourself. Keep it up.

KENNETH, I didn't make the finds. Roger made the finds and I commented on seeing some CW finds among them. SURE WISH I HAD MADE THEM...LOL...PAPPY
