Default silver in the rain

From the land of the Bluenose.....well got a pleasant surprise in that I had to work only half a day so I took advantage of the situation and went a digging after a quick trip to my wacky quacky doctor for a pill refill. Guy is right out to lunch so we get a long fine.
Rather bleak sort of day so I decided on a quick trip to a local lake to take a look see especially since the area is starting to get developed. Sure you can all relate to that!

Around this particular lake there is several spots where the young ones party and swim and the broken bottles and junk are out of this world. Have to be carefull when digging here but nevertheess did end up with a 1960 dime and a silver bangle which is similar to the one I found last year. Just nice to get out for a short hunt in the rain, alone and enjoy the day!<

Leslie,

I thoroughly enjoy perusing your posts. You always tell a nice story and I love being able to check out the pictures you take seemingly on every excursion.

I was thinking about your area the other day as I was watching the DVD series, “The War that Made America”. One part focused on the people on the coast in Nova Scoria being rounded up by the British during the French and Indian war for resettlement in the colonies. The documentary mentioned that a lot of these French speaking people made their way down to Louisiana. What part of the province are you in and have you ever discovered artifacts from this time period?
