my first payoff, although small
just went out for and hour and 45 mins and searchine a playground upturned a fair bit of junk, including a metal strap from a barrel, anyway i found my first coin on my second outing, not much only a $2 coin but still im wrapped, heres a pic of my recent discoveries including 2 pieces of chain a bolt a nut some nails and bottle caps and a screw and my $2 enjoy.

Congratulations!! That $2 is a good find. I remember my first find, it was a bunch of roofing nails in my aunts back yard!!! I never found any money detecting that was over $1 in denomination though..
