Default went hunting at the beach this moring...

it was very overcast and cool today. not a soul was there. of course by memorial day weekend this will be wall to wall people. i found a birds nest in the sand and a rusted lock. i was hoping it was a rolex but not to be. i tested out the new sand scoop. worked great. alot easier and quicker.

Hopefully everyone leaves the birdnest alone.

Default Your sand scoop?

We are going to Port Aransas, Tx. to camp at the beach area. I will hunt the beach for about 7 days and was wondering what kind of a scoop you have? Did you make it or buy it? I bought a plastic scoop for planting tulips and thought I would drill holes in it. I also thought of the feed store for a metal scoop and drilling...Just curious about what you found useful at the beach. Wish me luck...
