Default A few goodies on my first outing since ?

Hey Greg..........Remember Gloria's yard...where you found the 1884 pocket watch? I went back there today for a couple hours....and scored a 1903 V nickel, a 1908 Barber dime, and of all things....a civil war "Artillery" cuff button. I think that's what the "A" on the eagles breast means...no? It's probably a "souvenir" that was lost in the 50's, maybe having been recycled onto a modern garment. It's really in nice shape. There's still some of the gilded finish left on it.

Been working my tailfeathers off......built 62 banjo necks since Feb 15th.

I have been working 12 hours a day or more since February. There are guys who couldn't have cut the pearl inlay for 62 necks in that amount of time, just because they insist on having a life. My eyes are in decline, and I have but a few years left to build.....but 15 years left to sell...means I'd better make hay while the sun shines.

I really enjoyed digging these few little things up today. I don't know when I'll get back out, but it's gratifying to find something decent on such a short hunt. I was there just short of 2 hours.

Wyatt
