Default I harvest wheat, junior chases buffalo

Beautiful day today, and after walking my non existent ghost town (see research section) I decided to slooooowly swing the front yard again. I dug 11 crusty wheat pennies and a 5 cent token from the NCO club at Fort Kobbe, Panama. The token is probably from the 40s or 50s judging by the dates on the wheaties "46 thru 57".

Of course Junior show the old guy up with a very nice 36 nickel. Although not silver, he did the dance, and who was I to stop him.......

Hey Boobie, found most of them from 3 to 4" around the stump of an old pine I had removed years ago. I think the root system kept them shallow (and the acid caused the crustiness). My 10 power loupe came in real handy, thanks for your help!

Lucasi,
Those 11 were 7 more than I have found total since getting my detector in March. Seemed every hole I dug one or two came out. Don't think my wife planted them do ya?? I'll have to post a pic of the NCO club token, its pretty cool.
