Hi all,
Had a few minutes free to swing the front yard this evening, so I decided to check the same general area where I dug the 11 wheats Saturday to see if I may have missed one. Within 5 minutes of powering up I got a jumpy penny/dime signal and cut a plug. The coin was immediately visible as soon as I folded the plug back. Another wheatie! I was sure of it. Got some water to rinse it and check the date, and to my surprise I had dug a 1903 Indian Head. Still cant believe it. Pic is attached below along with a scan of the token found Saturday. Have not replaced the broken digital cam yet, sorry about the scan. HJ |

Last Thursday I was surprised to dig a 1900-o Barber half dollar. I was relic hunting at a civil war battle site.. Along a old barbed wire fence. You did well with that Indian head penny.. Keep looking..
