It's been a GREAT week!
Today while detecting in an empty lot next to my house, I had to call my wife with the cell phone and ask her to come wake me up. I had to be dreaming. This was the third day hitting this lot and it had been good, but today was excellent. Prior to today, I had found the rectangular gold necklace charm, cap gun, a handfull of clad (3 qtr, 2 nickles, 2 dimes, 21 pennies 2 are wheats), 1 silver quarter (1964 and nice condition), Hotwheels car, trunk lock cover, and a jar lid with holes popped in it. The jar lid was down about 6" and I can imagine the bugs it must have held in the past. That sure brought back memories as a kid.
Then today. A Matchbox car, about 10 pennies, 1 ring, 1 silver cross, and a possible gold plated Mother Mary charm. After finding the three pieces of jewelry in a row, I had to call my wife. What a day!!!
