Default Guess what I dug Up.....

Went back to the same park from last week, the park where I found a 58 wheat penny and a 58 nickle. Husband wanted to go also, so he borrowed a friends detector(garret predator). Well after only being there for 10 mins. I got yet another signal, not a strong one, at 4 inches deep. So I pulled up my plug and ANTS, ANTS, ANTS they where everywhere and already climbing all over me, BUT had to know what was in that hole so I keeped digging and then I see a coin when I reached in to pick it up I noticed it was silver, wiped it just a little bit and saw the words one cent---I yelled at hubby I've got something good!!! ANd it was a 1910 Barber Dime Yeah for me second one this year!!!! Well I rescanned the hole still a signal, so ignoring the ants I keeped searching, by now the ants are all over my gloves, legs(had on shorts), detector EVERYWHERE and they were biting me now . I keeped at that hole but because of the ants I had to quit, BUT I will go back and find what is left in that hole!! ANd as far as my husbands finds- two pennies and a railroad tie, the detector he was using had no pinpointer on it.
Here is the picture of my two dimes!!

Excellent finds INDY! I know what you mean about the ANTs though. I have had more holes like that than I would ever want. Why they feel the need to gather over good finds is beyond me. Keep finding that silver.

Wow, nice Barber dime! I would go back to that hole soon! Do you remember what the 2nd signal was giving you? Those parks are still productive, so keep at them. I found an 1853 3-cent silver piece in one this year! HH!

WTG ! I dont think i could have left without knowing what else was there ! Althou last year i found a barber dime in a hole that i had started the year before ( lost the signal) It was in a river bank that is slowly being eroded so i could tell i had dug there before.

I would go back :D But seriously though, that's an awesome find. Bring some ant spray On second thought, the park might not appreciate that.
