Latest finds!

Today I went out again, finally. We have had several days of record highs and dangerous smog levels and then a couple days of rain. We went from a drought to a flash flood watch inside a week! But I went out this morning and got a 1984 D quarter, an odd bit of metal and a sliver of that threshold I found last week. Apparantly the contractors who built our house in the early 80's were not concerned about throwing their trash away. We've only lived here for, gosh 8.5 years!! That's longer than I thought. *feels old, suddenly*

Oh, and I just wanted to say that the Pioneer EX in a quality machine, I just cleaned it up to pack it for my vacation and it still looks like it did out of the box! No scratches or anything, even though I know I haven't been the most careful with it.... I'll be doing some beach hunting, That will be fun.

Keep at it, those good finds will come. It seems to take a lot of hunting and digging up trash before you find that one good treasure. BTW Ilove your signature, can't wait to see the new Pirates of the Caribean!

Thanks! :D I still consider myself a newbie detectorist (2 weeks). I've only been searching my yard for practice. I too look forward to the new movie, but I am rather concerned that Davy Jones and his cohorts look too CGI and awfully like muppets gone bad. I really wanted a prequel with Bloom playing Bootstrap Bill. Ah well. :D
