50 coin day: Honker gold "O"

From the land of the Bluenose..didn't feel like getting wet today so I thought I'd hit a local soccer field as it only seemed fitting on the day of the World Cup finals....go France! Marie was off to the hospital to visit her sister who underwent surgery on her foot.
Sky was overcast and not 10 minutes into the dig the heavens opened up. Luckily I brought a rain coat for my Garrett (Glad garbage bag) and continued my digging hitting a ton of pennies then a silver ring with the intial "m" on it and not two holes later a honker of a gold ring with a lion design on it. Man this one is heavier then the one from the other year with the diamonds forming the letter "G". Sure made this bouy happy.

When I got home I cleaned the two rings up a tad.

Of course it cleared some what and I made sure to hid my dirty clothes at the bottom of the hamper least I get Marie upset by the mud I tracked home and dont get my roast for supper. End result for the 2 hour dig was 50 coins @$6.94 and the two rings. Not sure about the markings in the gold one.
