Default Well, I went back to that old house......

....You know the one where my husband found the IH pennies, that one time I decieded NOT to go! Well I went this time, and let me say that it was quite the adventure to get to this place . After stomping thru waist high weeds, crawling thru underbush , climbing over fallen trees and dripping wet with sweat (we all know how hot it has been lately) we finally arrived ! You can hardly see the old house from all the trees grown up around it , and the area was hard to hunt because of all the weeds and trees. The area is also very trashy, lots of signals and beeps. My husband found an old button, an airplane propeler, and a car! Not bad for all the junk in the area, but no coins this time. We are wondering about the button - how old could it be, what kind of button, etc.? On the back of the button it reads city button works. Any ideas?? Despite the treacherous journey to get to this place, this will be a place that we will go often!

What did I find, you may be asking ?? Well brace yourselves---
Because I found NOTHING, that's right not even a good peice of 'what is it' . I hate hunts like this, so disappointing. I blame my husband of course--he did jinxed my detector before we left

The button is refered to as the "great seal" button and this style was produced from the late 1890's to about WWII. Nice finds!
