Default my find today

After the girls went with the sitter and the girl I was sitting for went home I went to the river and went under the part of the bridge where there is no water and found this hubcap about 1/2-1 foot under the ground. I have gone there 3 days in a row but could'nt really look cause I had the girls so I caught crayfish while they swam, I kept 3 of them and have them in a temperary aquarium, we also found a monarch caterpillar that turned into a pupa yesterday. Below is the hubcap.

I looked on the back to see if there was anything that would say what car the hubcap was from and it had a chrysler five star logo on it and the numbers and letters T1 7519 A004 on one part and 4284 445 PPO 63428-K on another part, I tried to get a photo of the letters and numbers and logo but they are to small and came out too bright or to blury.

I did some hunting on here and I believe the hubcap is from a chrysler lebaron voyager, I have yet to find out what kind of year this type of hubcap was used.

You are getting into Vintage hubcap territory! If there is a hubcap reseller in your area, he might take it off your hands. There was one where I used to live. Apparently there was enough business to keep him in business.

If you find enough you could do something like this:

Not to be rude but why are you so interested in a worthless hub cap?

Nighthunter! I am surprised at you! That's like asking why people are so interested in crocks or outhouses or, for that matter, metal detecting! Part of the fascination of this hobby are the things we find along the way. When I find something out of place, I want to know more about it. Look at all the stuff that ends up on "Ask Pappy"? Curiosity, my friend.

Everything has some value to someone....

Now go stand in the corner for 2 minutes!

Nighthunter, I know it is just a hubcap but it is the biggest thing I have found so far and I have never found a hubcap before, I don't know anything about different types of cars, as far as I know it could have been a hubcap from an antique car or something, I had to post it and find out what car it was from.

Hoping you'll stumble onto something better than that soon.
