Default More findings at the 1800's Farm house!

Howdy

Went back to the old farm house to do more MDing and after weeding out alot of the junk starting to find some interesting items....

1954 Silver Quarter along with a Wheatie, Tootsietoy metal car, clad and an interesting old button like item.

Would like to hear what you guys think about this old item....the front has 2 muskets crossed and the back side has threads with a nut....definitely old but I'm not sure what era in time???

The land was given to this Gentleman that fought in the Civil war and I'm not sure if it was from that era....

Happy Hunting
John

The Muskets With Threads On It Could Be From A Handsaw , Used To Hold The Handle And Blade Together. Its Just A Guess Though. I Have Seen Something Similar Only With Crossed Flags.

Default Nice Diggin John!

The crossed rifles are infantry. Your piece is circa World War 2. It would have been screwed thru the uniform. The collar I believe.
