Default 1921 Peace Dollar...ARGHHH!!!!

Alright..I'm not happy.

I called one of my buddies (used to be) last week and told him about a couple of 1900 buildings that were going to be torn down in a local town.

What's he do? Goes out there WITHOUT ME and finds a 1921 Peace Dollar, two Mercs and an Indian head!

ANd then calls me to tell me about it!

DANG!

I've yet to unearth a silver dollar....and can only imagine giving a site to somebody that actually produced one.....especially a rare one.

I feel your pain. Go have a drink......or better yet....get out there and find something to take your mind off of it

Default Bummer

Some buddy. I would at him, then I would at him. Next the duel would be on

By this time he should know I am .

Then I figure he will want to make it up to me by telling me all his secret hunting sites.

All very good suggestions...

He tried to make it up to me by inviting me to go along to this spot next weekend.

What a buddy!

I better find something decent.

Default Silence Is Golden !!!!!

I had the same sort of experience happen to me !! I hunted around this old oil well for years with great results ! One day these two men asked me if I had found anything ? And ,"STUPID ME" , showed them my 1862 Large cent I had found that day . The following couple of days I went back to the site and "Low & Behold there was the two guys and two friends of theres with medal detectors in hand !!! From then on I keep my mouth SHUT and say I havent found anything yet !!!! Dont dispair , there are plenty of other sites with ALOT of goodies to be had ! JUST DONT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT TO ANYONE !!! KENNETH
