Battery condition experiment...cont'd
Well....I went down to the park tonight and the danged old magistrate was hanging about.....so I worked the outer perimeter....which was not where I wanted to be. I found 3.99 in modern coins, with the exception of a few deep wheaties. I did find a half dollar.....a 1995-P Kennedy. I didn't like it much so I took my 3.99 and added another dug penny and bought myself a 42 walker for my chest.
I rec'd the first of the walkers I've been buying today. They're much nicer than the clad I had to relinquish to the bank in order to buy them.
I know...some will say buying them isn't fair....but it is. End result is the same, and the money.....every penny....used to buy them was found with my detector.
I may get up at 6:00 am and return to the scene of the crime. It's the only time of day that's not physically punishing. It was still 86 degrees here at 8:40 pm when I left the park and got in my car to come home. I was soaked to the waist. Ever since the heart attacks last year.....I sweat standing still at 80 degrees.
The bad news is the battery experiment will continue after I deplete the current charge and have recharged the batteries again. I really think the machine "spots" silver better when fully charged, even though it's supposed to have a voltage regulator to even the DC current (and the performance) out over the length of the charge. In reality, I don't think it works that way.
Continued luck to you all,
Wyatt
