I went to the park this morning, arriving at 6:17 am, something I 've taken to doing since that's the only time of day fit to hunt........and I wasn't there too long before it started raining. I was back home at 6:40 am, but in that time I found a clad quarter 3 clad dimes, 3 pennies.....and a 54-D rosie.
The rosie was a real surprise. I re-checked the hole after removing a clad dime which was pretty shallow......only to get a higher reading than I had to begin with. The rosie was 5-6 inches deep in the same spot as the clad dime. Had I left the shallow target, I'd not have recovered the deeper one because it was completely masked by the dominant signal of the shallower target. You just never know..... Wyatt |

Hi Keith.......
The park is about 5 acres total. After removing the clad dime, the silver roosevelt dime registered like a quarter on the meter, and I checked it from several angles and it still registered as a quarter. Though I thought it was strange that it was under the clad dime I'd dug.....I knew that the second target was silver, and likely a dime. Wyatt |

I had to go to the post office and get money orders....and it was just after their lunch hour started, so I went back to the park for a short hunt....and perhaps the rain did some good, because I found a 47 rosie, again at a depth of 5 inches or thereabouts. Initial signal was VDI only, roughly that of a quarter, but I got a good audio tone while pinpointing in all-metal mode. That's 29 pieces of silver from this little place now.
