Default 50 coin day: 1250 lira found in the drink

From the land of the Bluenose....well Thursday was an overcast day with a few sprinkles here and there so I thought it a good time to hit a swishing spot in a "rough" area as the locals usually don't frequent this place on inclimate weather days. Of course it was early too boot so I started a land dig which netted me a few coins and then the weather took a turn for the better and the life guards arrived to begin their day.
By this time the heat was beginning to take it's toll so I headed back to Goquickski for a change of attire noticing along the way several spots where the locals had started bonfires and thrown about their liquor bottles. Sad to see a nice little park like this defiled.
Upon entering the water I knew there was going to be a lot of junk and that there was including glass, fighing tackle and various other pieces of debris which I removed as I came across it. One surprise was group of Italian coins that ended up in my sieve as well as a small toe ring.
Anyway the take for the day was 50 coins @$5.40, sinker, earing 4 Italian coins and the small ring.
Arriving home I got the "call" and headed into work for a night shift at time and a half..got to love it! Lots of flight delays and folks were a tad owlly! Started off on terminal patrol then to airside where the planes finally started taxiing in. The travelling public was sure in a "crappy" mood as the Global Ground fellow who empties the toilets on the planes made two extra trips through the north gate. Must say that this bouy has his feces amalgamated!
On the brighter side Dwayne VanMere (another constable on this shift) finally finished my painting. He and a few others run a kios in the terminal for local artists.
Proud winds blow as the Bluenose is sailing once again!
