Butt ugly silver quarter...almost threw this one back!
I decided to keep it anyway.....save anybody else the agony of having to find such a pitiful coin. I found this one alongside the road here in town this morning, and if I were a betting man, I'd bet this is road salt damage.
The date's impossible to make out with the naked eye (mine anyway) but under magnification...it's a 1952-S. You can sort of read the date on the scan. It's a junker.....looks like I'm going to need a "holding cell" for the nasties. Wyatt Last edited by Wyatt Earp; 08-12-2006 at 09:34 AM.
