Greg had told me that you guys were going to go to the park and that's why I was there this morning. I was too early though. There were no cars there when I was there at 7:30. The dew was so heavy that the coil was a grass clippings magnet, so I decided to go home and let the dew burn off.
I figured my odds were better at the high school so I didn't go back to the park. I am going to guess that all of the old coins that you found were deeper targets than the 6000 can reach? 6 inches seems to be about it on dimes, and 7 inches on quarters....and that's when it's pretty damp. Sorry I missed you guys. There's always next time..... Wyatt |

I'm sure it was great and I'm glad to hear that you guys scored some keepers.....sorry I missed the chance to meet some of my e-compatriots.. Did Greg show you guys the old school?
Greene and Fayette counties are ripe with sites that still hold goodies. It's much less populous.....less people...less detectorists. Gonna go hit the school for awhile after I get my coffee down. See Ya....... Wyatt |
