Default OK I take it back

After my earlier post (Geezum Crow) I read the responses and decided to give it another shot but not before I had put in a desperate email to Tony at TC metal detectors about the possibility of trading up or obtaining a different machine. I chose the local school yard even though I had been there before but figured what the heck if nothing more the practice is good. I dug a bunch of pop tops and bottle caps and about $.13 in change. Then it happened..... The detector went off and it was a different sound. Kind of a low strong sound. Decided it could not be the basketball pole because I was more than a foot away. So started digging. To my surprise when I got about an inch down I saw this shinny thing. There it was......my first gold ring. It is 14 K gold and has a small ruby and what appears to be two very small diamond chips on the side. I am sure it is not very valuable but to me it means the world. Finally!!!! Still gonna talk to Tony about the Ace 250 but at least for now I hit gold. Thanks for all the advice everyone. JoAnne

Well now......that's sure a nice way to start. I haven't found a gold ring in quite awhile......but I am the silver slayer. Low signals get skipped sometimes....except very repeatable nickel signals. I have 1 1/4 carat white gold ring to my credit...and one 10 K ruby ring.

Glad you found something to keep your spirits up.

Wyatt
