Default Todays Finds 8-14-06

todays-finds-8-14-06-epp-8-14-06.jpgDidn't Plan To Go Today, But My Buddy Larry Called And Wanted To Go. We Went To Eagle Point Pk. Where I Usually Go When Can't Think Of A New Place. I Knew This Place Would Just Have To Give Up A Silver With All The Wheats We've Been Unearthing.5- Wheats 1918-1920-1941d-1944d-1946s. And 1-1942 Merc In Beautiful Shape. LARRY CALLED ABOUT 9:30 TO TELL ME HE FOUND 1-1903 INDIAN HEAD ALONG WITH ABOUT 7 WHEATS

Nice finds......wheats are usually a good indication that silver could be lurking nearby. Check that merc for the 42/41 overdate.

there's a shelter/lodge there that has a area below it (where it would drain if lots of rain...) where there seemed to be lots of "treasures". it's the shelter house built out of rocks, somewhere near the middle I think... been a while.

anyway, about 11-12 years ago, I found a really cool little brass box there....
