Default It Was A Good Day For ME

I took my sister back to the old house today, and I found a horseshoe, square nail, a lil toy soldier(plastic) found it laying on the ground, face piece of a ladies watch, a 'what is it' thing looks like a shoe(toy), a few bottles AND my BIG find of the day a 1909 Barber Quarter . OH yeah, Go me!! My sister found a really cool horse item it is round with a horse printed on it with some words, not sure what it is , sorry no picture to share. And a few bottles. Not much for her today. Then we headed to my old favorite park, I find something everytime I go there. And this time I found some clad, part of a toy truck, and a 1892 V nickle- in bad shape very discolored and bent, but I'll take it. My sister found some clad and a piece of a toy gun- she is very disappointed in her detector(BH SS 2) and she is looking for a new one. So a very good day for me!!
P.S. Oh so sorry chitown, you may have beat me in finding the IH, But I beat you this time!!! Let me rub that in a little bit more-- I FOUND A 1909 BARBER QUARTER FIRST HAHAHAHA good-day-me-resized-100_0586.jpg

That's the way to do it. I have never found a barber quarter. I have found 6 seated liberty dimes, a couple barber dimes....but standing liberty is the oldest design I have found as far as quarters go. Those are fun to find. I can magine how exciting it must have been to dig a barber quarter.

That V-nickel looks like it was new when it was lost. Nice digs.

Wyatt
