On my way to my Friday breakfast with my hunting buddies and stopped off at a park on the way. I found a Commonwealth of the Bahamas nickel that is very unusual for this part of the country and an older ring from American Airlines. It is a kids cheapy, probably not that old but it was at 6" under a root by a tree. It had the American Airlines logo and was inscribed "Junior Stewardess". Probably a promo thing that they gave to all the little girls back in the 50s? It's pot medal and looks like it was plated with a silver substance at one time or another. Probably made of brass base metal. Just something of interest to put in my display if I ever get one going! Montyburns
Wellllll....got the pic to work! Excellent! Also found a little clad but I think you probably have seen clad before? MB Last edited by montyburns; 08-19-2006 at 01:43 PM. |
