New yard....old silver ring set w/stones
Probably not diamonds since anybody who could afford diamonds wouldn't have them set in sterling....but this was unearthed this morning in a yard here in town that I just got permission to hunt. I also found a water faucet that registered as a half dollar and my heart started racing when I saw the glint of silver....nope, chrome.
Briefly considered going and sifting the dirt for the other stone....might do that yet. Not that a 5th piece of cut glass makes this beauty worth any more than it is now. This was a clothesline find. Found it within 5 minutes of starting to detect this place....at a depth of roughly 5 inches. Wyatt

Yeah.......I found my loupe.....the "stones" are just glass as I suspected. Maybe the next one will be gold.
