Default Sniper

After reading about the Sniper coil making pinpointing with the ACE 250 easier, I purchased one. And have been having a much better time with it than the orginal coil. Still pinpointing isn't easy, but it has been narrowed down. Went to a local church and tried a side yard away from the parking area and entrance. Found about 2.00 in clads, a couple of wheaties and a 1964 quarter. Silver! Got to get out of my little burg to find some goodies as soon as the sun and gnats die down. Ever detect with gnats in your ears, around your eyes, and on your lips? Bugs ya!

Default Pinpointing

On my sniper coil there is an X right in the middle of it. When you have the strongest signal/sound the target will be right under that X. At least thats how my sniper works. It is very accurate. Hope that helps some

Default X marks the spot

Thanks for the advise, CC, but I still have problems. Everytime I X the spot, I have to move the coil out of the way to dig. The X moves with it and I move over to dig there. I have been chasing that **** X all over the church yard. (LOL)

the only trouble with the sniper coil, is that it wont go very deep, and you cant cover much ground per swing, but for trashy areas they are awesome! you can get in between all of the junk and find the good stuff hiding!
