Decided to stick to an abandoned house in Connellsville, instead of going to the State Park, due to time constraints. At first, a lot of junk closer to the back road but moving close to the old tree near the house, I found a 1942 Wheat penny, then a 1965 quarter, and '71, '73, and '77 pennies. Most of them were on the top of the ground. Afterward, went home and hit the yard, since I now know quite a bit more than last week when I first got my MD. Within minutes, I was digging up a 1962 D penny and then found a 12 gauge shotgun slug, that apparently missed EVERYTHING. lol Has riflings on it but not mushroomed, so must have just run out of steam.
