Default Newbie finds in big city park

Im totally new to the whole metal detecting thing, originally being an indian relic collector, I dont know much about metal detecting at all. About two months ago I purchased an old Whites Coinmaster 2000 series 3 for thirty bucks. I dont know much about the machine, hell, I probably dont even know what im doing. Lmao!. At any rate I took a trip to a local park (located 10 minutes from New York City) and began looking around. Man was there so much garbage! It drove me nuts. After almost two hours this is what I found, pictured are: 1946 Roosevelt dime and 1964 Roosevelt dime and the brass end of a 20 gauge paper shotgun shell. Inscription on the bottom of shotgun brass reads: " U.M.C. CO. No 12 Nitro".

Some of us hunt for 4 hours and only get one silver dime. I'd say you done OK for a novice. Keep at it and the finds will get more frequent.
