Default 9/03/06 finds

Hey, guys, it has been awhile since I got out last. Since college started, I only have 1 day to detect, so today was that day! RP, Zoyboy, Blitz, and I got out to one of our spots. I used my Shooter DD coil. I was detecting for about an hour, with nothing to show for, when I got a promising signal. It turned out to be a 1945 Mercury dime at 2.5". After that, I proceeded to pull out 4 Wheat pennies about an inch from the dime. It was a nice "little" pocket spill. After those finds, I found a dateless Buffalo nickel at 1.5".

I detected for about another hour, when I got another "decent" signal. This target turned out to be a 1928 Mercury dime at 2.5". I also found 2 more Wheaties to end the day.

I am very pleased with the performance of the DD coil. It has been treating me well lately!
