Could not wait another minute.

Hi all,

Nothing but rain in my neck of the woods for several days running now. Last night I promised myself that I was going to swing a coil today rain or shine. Of course I got rain.

Went to a small public square/park in a rural borough about 12 miles from where I live. I scouted it about ten days ago and got my first Kennedy half for my efforts. I was driven back to the car 4 or 5 times by downpours, then I found a ziploc bag in my trunk, put it over the Ace 250's head and went to work.

The results:

8 clad quarters
15 clad dimes
1 nickle (I had them notched out)
47 pennies (one wheatie 53D)
Total $4.02, my best day yet!

Maybe I'll put it toward the tennis shoes I need to replace the ones I destroyed............

Have to admire a man who is that dedicated.....I've gone early in the morning when there's a heavy dew and came home in squishy sneakers before.
