Default It's Lucky to Drink Green River Whiskey

...so lucky that whoever owned this token lost it. There might be something to the lucky token though....since about 15 minutes after finding it, the park coughed up this 42-D merc.

In all I also found 1.91 in clad...and a demo'ed man's gold filled wedding band...thrown into the trash can at the park. I think I wnacked it with my digger. It was in really hard soil. It was marked "Unger" inside. It had a copper core and registered much like a penny/dime.

The clad's in the bath....but here's the goodies. Too bad the token is so bad. This is the good side. There are numerous examples of this token on eBay.

Green River whiskey was touted as "The whiskey with no regrets"...and "The whiskey with No headaches"....the "no regrets" slogan was first used in 1906.

A second trip to the park netted $4.36 in clad. I had to hunt some of the more out of the way areas, part of the parking lot, and one more time under the spiral slide to achieve that sum. Combine that with this morning's take....and another walker goes into the jar along with that merc. I chose a 1942 to match the date on the merc.
