Default Early coppers, seateds and more....

Detecting can certainly be an adventure, yesterday we went to a spot that should have produced many items and we basically found found nothing at all, then today my wife comes home from work and says my friend at works has an old house and says you can detect there so i had about 1 1/2 left till it got dark and we go there and its a house 150+ years old and they told me there was an old stage stop and store in the woods they showed me where the cellar holes were and within 2 min. of putting my coil down the finds kept coming :)... here a few of them!!

2 king george coppers i think no dates
1 draped bust large cent i think its 1801
1 1825 LC
1 1848 LC
1957 seated qtr
1853 seated dime
some cool relics.... small powder flask and silver thimble with hall marks!!

That's the kind of place a fellow might be tempted to sift the whole area....of maybe the top 12 inches of soil. No telling what kind of stuff might turn up.

Nice finds JD. Hope the luck continues.

Super Finds!! If I lived in Missouri I would be begging to come join you. I agree with sifting the entire area at least 12 inches down. Sounds like a good idea.

Default awsome finds!

J.D. those are some awsome digs. I'd hit that site hard. Once you covered it. I'd hit it all over again with a different program. Might pick up something else. Do you take your child with you to md? They had to get a kick out of those finds. I'd love to have a day like that. Keep us posted on your finds.HH greg
