Default Buffalo and a 46 rosie

....and 3.47 from the park here in town today. I stuck to the ball diamond today since it's hard to even find a penny in the rest of the park. The 1946 roosevelt dime was at just 4 inches, and I had it figured for a clad dime before I dug it....surprise!

The buffalo was a surprise too, inasmuch as it's the first I've dug there, but the condition is less surprising. It's completely worthless, with beautiful hues of red and green....kinda reminds ya of christmas. It's the only buffalo nickel I dug this year.

Gonna go work on my piggy bank. It needs a cabinet built for the inside.

Thanks Boobie......but I think I might be just about to "cease to amaze" at the park....it's awfully tough there these days. The last 3 outings added up to just over a dollar, and just one silver rosie (a 47)....which is why I decided to hit the ball diamond again.

As a rule, there aren't nearly as many coins on the ball diamond, but there were more there today than were available elsewhere in the park.
