Default Had A Good Hunt.

Well I had a few hours to kill on Monday before work so I decided to hit the field. I found a 1745 George 2 in good condition I couldnt get a closer pic. But there is alot of detail on it. I found 3 Musket Balls I gave one to a buddy. 2 Buttons both with there shanks. A peice of pipe stem. And them my favorite find for the day. A Full Crotal Bell with the dinger inside. I find these bell's from time to time but they are alsways broken in half. I always wanted to find a whole one. It has a small heart carved in the bottom If you look close in the pic you will see it. Do you know how to date the bell?

Nice finds ! got some nice crotal bells myself, and often wondered how old they might be as they are all basicly the same.I usualy assume there from the time period of the objects i find around them. But that could be way off as they could be used for many years. Thanks Pappy for the site !
