Default Silver and Injun

Went to the old courthouse today, hunted about 10 minutes and it started raining. Was going to hang it up when I got a solid hit reading 137 on the display. I found the mens silver ring at only 3 inches deep. Well I couldn't leave then so I stuck it out and two hours later I got a signal bouncing between penny and dime and showing 6 inches deep.
I pulled out a 5 inch plug and Lo and behold there in the bottom of the hole was a 1890 Indian head. Stayed 1 more hour and got more clad.
I got a little damp but it was well worth it. HH Merf

I am about 3 miles from Dekalb Dave. I have enjoyed your posts and it sounds like the hunting is pretty good in your area. This area has been hunted a lot but there are still some good targets. It just takes a little more effort and time. Good Hunting, Merf
