Didn't expect this
Well after my 100 coin day last weekend I couldn't wait to go back to the park. I woke up at 4am and had to wait till seven. The park opens at dawn. I was getting plenty of clad coins but wanted to find the old stuff. Had a zinc penny reading, dug and to my surprise I found a three ringer. Not a foot away I got another zinc reading, it was a small pistol 2 ringer. I put them into my special pocket and kept going. About an hour later I found another bullet. 5 foot away I found the US buckle. I never expected to find relics in a town park. What a nice surprise.

BTW, just wanted to let everyone know the Fisher CZ-3D is not only a coin detector. I love my machine and would not trade it for anything.

Nice finds! When I worked for Loundoun Co. I used to hunt Ida Lee park, Cluade Moore and the park in Purceville (can't remember the name). Used to get a few items each time I went. No buckles though. I would love to see the CW relics posted on the CW forum too. Come on over and post some time!
