"garage" sale find...
about 9 years ago, the place I worked then had a "garage sale" to clear out some items they had laying around. I spied a cufflinks/tie tack set in a nice plush blue box. noticed the 10k stamp on the backs, and asked how much. $5 later they were mine. I removed the junk metal pieces, just leaving the 10k stuff. here's some pics with some coins you'll recognize the size of... the edge picture is with the same quarter as the front shot...
  still not as much fun as digging would be, but I was happy....
