Default Another "Christmas" nickel restored with Tarn-X and steel wool

Here's what monday's buffalo looks like (both before and) after a brutal cleaning with tarn-X and 0000 steel wool. It took several soakings and scrubbings....but I'm happy. The red and green "Christmas" look is gone....and it's the color of a normal nickel, even if the surfaces are rather granular looking.

Don't do this to good dates.....I guess.

Wyatt
