Here in Virginia the weather is nasty, rain, clouds. and high winds. Looks like you had a very good day.

Hi Boobie ! actualy the buttons i found are from the war of 1812 ! If you look along the rivers, look for bits of broken glass, pottery and bricks. This is a good sighn of an old homesite/trading post etc. You should be able to find artifacts from the rev.war and war of 1812 in your area. The spot i found these is now a cornfield and without the glass and bricks you would never know there was somthing there in the past.good luck!HH !

Thanks all ! I'm taking the day off work to hit it again tomorrow.I have permission to hunt till deer season opens (sat.)This site is less than 1 mile from a well known indian village site and It just keeps getting better also as the new owners told me that it was also the site were troops camped during WW II.This was on the other end of the field were we havent searched with the detecters but noticed bits of glass, brick etc.Its a huge cornfield so we should be busy there for awile ! I ALWAYS get permission and more than once refused to search an area with people who have no respect for private property. This site has been off limits till recently because of people treaspassing.HH all !
