Well, found my first gold , a ring , i took it to the local coin dealer in town , the ring is sterling silver with a real topaz setting and 31 very small gold settings through out the ring, there are 9 of them missing but 23 left , he told me it was a important ring when it was bought( not just as a jewlery pc.) He dated it in the 1920's . Was i surprised . NOW the wife wants it (lol) good hunting all. I'll post a picture on sunday , i hope . he valued it at about $ 200.00
