Old Farmhouse

Well.. I want to post my finds, but I'll have to post a bit of old news. My last outing before the snow fell was November 11th. It was a lead a detector buddy of mine gave up. A friend of his lived at the outskirts of the city I live in. It's an older house (built in 1901), that's in a cozy neighborhood. It use to be an old farmhouse back in the day. As soon as we started swinging our coils targets started popping out. I myself found 10 wheaties, 1 indian and a 1938 American Legion token.

Indian head was the deepest at 5 inches. All the others were relatively close to the surface, approximately 2-3 inches. Used my trusty White's XLT.

Yeah.. I was very surprised no silver popped up. Along with that I found only one 'modern' coin.. it was a great day. I know there is a ton more there.. but not sure if a chance for a return visit will present itself. They just sold the house.. and will be out of there before next season. I guess I could try the new owners.
