Default What is this?

Friends,
I need some help identifying this. What was it for? How old is it? I found this in my wife's grandmother's yard.

Can you post another picture of it? The one you posted appears to be a close up. One that shows the whole find might help. Whatever it is sure looks interesting.

Default Keky Tag

It appears to be the remains of an OLD HOTEL KEY TAG. Usually they wanted the finder to return it Unsealed and the upper portion that is missing should have had the name of the Hotel and Address on it. You would just drop it in the post office or a street side mail box and it would have been returned. Already has prepaid postage stamped on the tag.
